How do you
know that an email from Microsoft is actually from Microsoft?
One of the recent viruses is spread by an email that claims to be
a security update from Microsoft.
If you receive a reported update from Microsoft verify that:
1) there is no attachment - Microsoft
NEVER sends email announcing
updates with
attachments
2) there is a link to an actual link on the Microsoft web site
If these 2 conditions are not met, delete the email
